I am extremely thankful for the Citizens of Putnam County for allowing me the honor of serving as your Sheriff since 2014. Since I have been in office we have grown tremendously in every division a the Sheriff’s Office, but we are not done yet. I don’t run for Sheriff because it’s easy. I run because I care. I care about your family, your safety, your peace of mind. This position demands someone who understands all aspects of a Sheriff’s Office—patrol, investigations, civil and criminal warrants, court security, and most importantly jail operations.

The role of the Sheriff is to enforce the laws as written and to do so fairly and firmly. I understand how critical it is to build strong partnerships with our community because public safety is something we achieve together. By upholding professional standards and working side by side with our citizens, I will continue to lead the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office with transparency, accountability, and purpose.
